Hotel Pinomar and the wine tasting company Discoversherry have created “D’Sherry Explorers”.
D’Sherry Explorers is a group of tireless explorers of the passionate world of Sherry Wine and Brandy and Manzanilla de Sanlúcar.
To continue learning about this fascinating world, we organize many interesting, educational, exciting, and fun activities. We visit wineries, museums, archaeological sites, and other places of interest related to our wines, always guided by experts. We attend events such as Vinoble, GastroCádiz, Copa Jerez, and the Fino Wine Festival. We visit vineyards and even participate in the grape harvest!
Hotel Pinomar is the Sherry Explorers’ base camp, where we meet once a month, inviting experts from the world of food and wine who present fascinating topics in various formats, such as talks, presentations, and tastings.
In addition, for each meeting, we create a package with accommodation and special rates, which we announce regularly on our website.
If you want to become a Sherry Explorer, all you have to do is take a (very serious) oath with a pith helmet, a venencia (sherry pouring tool), and a glass of Sherry at one of our meetings. This will make you eligible for discounts on activities.
